Bubbles

Bubbles   etching 3x6cm   ©2018LisaLeQuelenec

A new miniature etching. It seems the universal appeal of bubbles and children also extends to puppies. Much fun has been had with a squirt of dish soap, some water and a couple of bubble wands. It's a race to see who can pop them first.

Prints from this edition are available at Seaside Studios UK Etsy  and at Seaside Studios UK Folksy

Summer fun is fast drawing to a close....my lil prince starts his first day of school next week! The cute little puppy that came home with us is now toothy and sassy....and I am left wondering where did that time go? I couldn't resist showing you this puppy grin. New teeth are on their way.

Blowing bubbles takes us back to childhood and the happiness, the freedom of running in the yard, watching them float up and around or catching them to pop and pop and start over again :). Love this and hope you do more! It is similar to your rocks paintings but softer in some ways because it makes one think of the fleeting aspect of childhood. And love the little pup!! :).

Lisa as always your art is so lovely. How much your sweet puppy has grown. Besides all the chewing and messes they are such a blessing. Hope you enjoy your morning walks with him. I will be thinking of you both while I am out walking my two. Hugs!

Bubbles and puppies - a winning combination, Lisa!
I remember those needle teeth & chewing with a puppy, but but the sweetness and giggles make up for that.

Hi there Lisa!... "I'm forever blowing bubbles...Etc

Bubbles trap the imagination in a transparent... gossamer film. That insures that "children"... young and old can continue to play endlessly.

Like your puppy... li'l Prince and your artwork... they do get away from you without your even noticing... when you are having so much fun. Enjoy each of them for what they are to You Lisa.... Blessings!

Warm regards and Hugs!
Bruce

Hi Rhonda, thank you. I am finding myself drawn at the moment to circles, spirals and a more minimalist way of working..maybe I am going abstract again. Something is just out of reach at the moment trying to catch it but it disappears. I'm glad it gave you happy memories :o)

Thank you Maywyn. She is cute and full of mischief even with her missing teeth. I will think of you blowing bubbles.

Hi Debbie, I love the early morning walks the best I think. A nice peaceful time and soon there will be the mist on the river to look forward to here. At the moment she is on her back snoring away at my feet. Best wishes to you and yours.

Hi Chris, the chewing so far has been quite controlled (touch wood it stays that way) She asked me to hold her antler steady for her last night so she could really chow down....I couldn't refuse and it made me appreciate how useful thumbs are.

Hi Bruce, it has been a very fun and memory making summer thats for sure. We are just about starting the approach to the autumnal fun of tromping through the falling leaves. It seems like pup will love this even more and li'l Prince needs no encouragement. The jury is still out as to how I will feel about the wetter weather and muddy puddle jumping with six feet/paws to deal with on my floors although it will make a change from sand ;o) ....more washing lol.
