It's hard to go through a loved ones possessions, there feels like a lot of pressure to do it quickly. Take your time and bit by bit you will get there. Sometimes it's the silly things that remind us of the person the most. I wish I had the stick my nan used to hook the washing over in her old twin tub washing machine. It had gotten very short over the years with use and was blue/white from the washing powder. She used to waggle it at us kids (good naturedly) if we got up to mischief. I hope that you are enjoying seeing the reminders of the good times and all the happy memories.

Hi Bruce thank you. I find inspiration in the smallest objects as well as the biggest views.Lisa Le Quelenechttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15939073566444931704noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1893909553937403783.post-28703204161212803352013-08-11T14:28:09.303+01:002013-08-11T14:28:09.303+01:00Good morning Lisa!... Made me think more about all the odds and ends I'm finding in my grandmother's house - perhaps I should take some time and think more about the history of these small things she kept around.RH Carpenterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05497161758269292809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1893909553937403783.post-70701896410264547072013-08-09T11:37:13.725+01:002013-08-09T11:37:13.725+01:00I love your documentation of this little find Lisa...I love your documentation of this little find Lisa, and seeing your colour thoughtsLorraine Brownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13501222231037623426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1893909553937403783.post-42033676980734257142013-08-08T21:49:32.392+01:002013-08-08T21:49:32.392+01:00Lovely post!
