Fingers crossed :o)

Hi Michael, many thanks. I'm thinking of going bigger, maybe a squared off full sheet of watercolour paper size. I'm still formulating the idea but maybe a mix of acrylic and acrylic ink. I think I'd use whole tubes of watercolour paint to get the intensity of colour.

Thank you for stopping over Jala, I'm glad you like them. :o)

Hello Bruce, welcome. That's high praise indeed, thank you :o) I'll be sure to come and visit your blog, I love looking at sketchbooks to see where the paintings come from and learn about other peoples processes.

Welcome Theresa, I saw your name and recognised it instantly.... it took me a while to figure out where from... 100 washes...doh! I'd been admiring your work from afar. Just discovered your wonderful site... and marvellous sketchbooks!!!

I love your airy landscapes... they have great beauty... but your sketchbook entries like the poppies and feathers are gems...rich in detail... yet the images maintain a loose... painterly and pleasing-to-the-eye vitality!

I enjoy both in the viewing... and because it is the basis for much of my own painting process!

Good Painting!... and Happy Summer Sketching!
Warm regards,
Bruce Sherman
I will be back!
