Bit by bit I think I might be getting there. There's still a lot more glazing and building up to do, some adjusting to the tones and colours but I am really enjoying this one.
You know l have to be honest, l don't like daffodils. There a poisonous flower, and should never be mixed with any other flower, as they will kill them off, eventually. BUT, l'm looking at these in a different light all together, l suppose it's true, some things look better in a picture/photo than they do in real life.....And, they are so 3D. These are really lovely....Well done....! :0)
You know...I've been looking at these Daffodils, over the last couple of days....And, yes, l do like them...........! And it reminded me of the lovely Alicia Keys......... And the Day came when the Risk it Took to Remain Tightly Closed in a Bud, was more Painful than the Risk to Bloom. This is the Element of Freedom....!x

Thank you Willie for your comments on the painting:o) I never new that daffodils were poisonous! I've always seen them as so cheerful.
ReplyDeleteYou've inspired the title of this painting, the quote sums up just how I feel when I see the first flowers.
