I think I may need to do another version of this at some point. I really wanted to have more negative shapes behind the daffodils but I got a little too dark a little too quick. I think if I keep at it with the acrylic I'll lose some of the sparkle that I've got at the moment. Those drippy marks toward the bottom were fun to do though, the white is unpainted paper.
Oh!.....Yes.....Lovely......!
ReplyDeleteAll we need is the spring to go with them....!
I don't do blue, at all, but l like it in this background, such depth....
Yes.....!
Thanks Willie, it can't be long now, seems to me like it's been winter for ages. At least the days are getting longer.
ReplyDeleteThese are just beautiful and full of spring promise…are they up in your garden yet? We don’t even have our snowdrops out yet…
ReplyDeleteHi Maggie, the snowdrops are just starting in very sheltered spots and the daffs are coming up but no flowers yet. I found these at the supermarket and couldn't resist. I'm getting very impatient for spring as the winter seems to have gone on for ever. Do you feel the same? I see you've been painting flowers too.
