Wet Sand and Emerald Seas acrylic on canvas board 20x20cm ©2011 Lisa Le Quelenec |
I thought I'd show you a picture of the painting with the things from my collections that inspired the colours. (For some reason that I can't fathom I separate the sea glass that I find into colours - I hate to see them mixed up. It's a bit like arranging colour pencils in a tin ;o)

wonderful colors! soothing in this July heat --
ReplyDeleteVery lovely, the colours are especially beautiful. A serene painting.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colours Lisa, and the reflected light from the wet sand looks fabulous. I dislike disorder and can't tolerate clutter so I'd say there's absolutely nothing wrong with being organised when it comes to things we cherish, like our pencils, paints, brushes, rocks, books, CDs, etc etc ... is there? ;)
ReplyDeleteI love this colour combo..... If I were on holiday I would want to buy this and take it home!
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly, lucky you! It's been chilly and wet here this week. This was me wishful thinking ;o) Thank you for popping over.
ReplyDeleteHi Caroline, thank you. I've been looking at your portraits, the drawing is so sensitively done.
Thank you Michael, I may have misled you..... I'm usually a Miss Messy it's just the sea glass that makes me a neat freak. I'm working on being organised but there's always so much painting to do.....
Hello Maggie, thank you very much, that's high praise indeed. In case you were thinking of visiting the area see the next post first although I'm told it'll be better for the weekend ;o)
