The skies may be cooler than previous days this week but the poppies are hot, hot, hot in the garden! Large cheery blooms are bobbing in the breeze and today some more have opened - white this time. If only I had some blue Himalayan ones I could of had a jubilee red, white and blue.

ReplyDeleteI love them, they look great together!
ReplyDeleteLovely, Lisa and make me warmer than the temperature drop of 20 odd degrees today.
ReplyDeleteHi there Lisa!... In "card talk"... your exquisite efforts and renderings in both watercolour and ink... could rightly be called... "a Royal Flush"! HA HA!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the Jubilee celebration with everyone else in your United Kingdom!
Rule Britannia!
Good Painting and Celebrating!
Warmest regards,
Bruce
Hi Judy, thank you. It's nice to paint in series sometimes.
ReplyDeleteIt's been pretty chilly hasn't it Zoe. I hope it's getting warmer for you now. It's been grey and wet all weekend here. But it didn't dampen the jubilee spirits :o)
Hi Bruce, the Jubilee has been lovely and put people in a great mood. What a woman! Turning up for work every day for 60 years gets my respect! Thank you about the paintings.
