Nautilus   prints 1 - 4 of 10   drypoint 15.5x20.5cm   ©2015LisaLeQuelenec

They took a little while to dry but here they are... the first four prints of an edition of ten of my chambered nautilus dry point. There are variations in the colouring and tones as I am continuing to experiment with the inking process.

  1. It is amazing how something from such a "harsh" technique of "digging" into plexi with a sharp object then becomes something so delicate and lovely! Just beautiful, all of them, and I love the little variations. Are you going to sell these on your Etsy shop?

  2. Good morning Lisa!... Each of our nautilus variations... though similar in structure... have their own essence of shared delicacy of line and colour.

Lovely... in their blue softness! Bravo!

Look forward to seeing more play!

    Happy Printing!
    Warmest regards,
    Bruce

  3. Hi Rhonda, it is a lovely process. I am really enjoying it as it is feeding my love of drawing. Once I have some more prints finished and dried I will put some up on Etsy. (I expect it will be a couple of weeks - then I will post them on here.)

Hello Bruce, I'm really glad that you had such a good time on your recent painting trip. Thank you about the prints.
Best wishes to you and yours.
