Sometimes it feels like you are working away and not getting anywhere fast and then all of a sudden things click into place and pieces are all finished at once. That is what has happened this week for me, it has been like waiting for the tide. Four small mixed media and collage pieces inspired by the colours and textures of the shoreline. I am feeling drawn to the very edge or meeting point of sea and sand.
All four are available in my Etsy Store.

Love the texture in these, it really adds another aspect to the print/collage!! And lovely colors and shapes, as always.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful, just lovely to look at! I love how the woven bit can suggest sea froth or sand texture. You are really onto something here!
ReplyDeleteHi Rhonda, thank you. I am eyeing up all sorts of things to collage in, especially fabric. The rag bag isn't safe!
ReplyDeleteThank you Laura, I'm glad that you are getting that vibe. I'm trying to think of ways to suggest rather than state which I think I am guilty of too often. It is such a delicate balance to learn.
