Good morning Lisa!... A beautiful light and sensitive study - well drawn and expressive! A gem!
A nice bright and cheery change from your "blue" palette! Just what the doctor ordered - a spoonful of sunshine... in hope of the coming of Spring. Just around the corner now!
Hi Bruce, thank you. We've had a spoonful of sunshine today which has made a welcome change on my morning walk. I spotted my first daffodil open in my garden too. It's been a long time coming...
Hi Theresa, thank you. I'll answer in my next post about the pens.... I hope things warm up for you soon and your daffoidils bloom soon ;o)
Thank you Jane, I hope you are keeping warm.
Hi Rhonda, they are sunshine on a stalk aren't they.. thank you.
I hope yours start to bloom soon Marcela, for now I am enjoying your orchids. They are another favourite flower.
Dear Lisa - found your blog through Bruce Sherman's post...your dip pens brought me here and then I had to read your previous post and see your daffodils. They are lovely. Looking forward to getting to see more of your work and knowing you.

Good Painting!
Warmest regards,
Bruce
These are lovely! I like the use of brown inks too and the variation of line is really expressive. What kind of pen have you used?
Yes please, let's have some sun. Snowing heavily here in the Peak District but the daffoidils are poking through the soil :) Roll on Spring ...
No, there isn't another species in the Peak ... I meant 'daffodils' ;)
very beautiful study lisa ... lots of snow here
Delicate and lovely! You give me hope that spring will come and, with it, the sprouting daffodils so bright and sunny.
What a lovely promise of spring Lisa!
I love your daffodils in watercolor.
I can´t wait to see them growing from the grass. I hope it will come soon..
