Saturday sketches

An hour at the beach on Saturday afternoon and very fast changing weather/light conditions meant sketching had to be super fast.

From overcast with high contrast like this......

To much clearer blue skies and warm sunshine like this....

Hi Lisa, great to see you out there by the sea working away. Those are great photos and your work in action is really lovely and dramatic. It is great to be out again after the long winter.

Hi there Lisa... Nice to see you putting your Altoid Kit to work... plein air! Good results as well... given the limited palette! Fun!

Good Painting!
Warmest regards,
Bruce

Morning Caroline, it's so good to get out sketching and blowing the cobwebs away. This winter has been quite good so there have been lots of odd hours here and there. I can't wait for the warmer months though when you can spend whole days out.

Hi Bruce, it's always fun to get out and about isn't it. This little altoid tin will get a lot of use this year I think. Gouache has been slowly winning me over.
