I hope your exhibition goes well for you Lisa. How are you framing your works? 'Evening Southbourne' has a beautiful gradation of colour as the soft hues fade into the horizon. The waves are finely detailed giving depth to the painting. It looks a beautiful place to be.

Beautiful colours in these pieces Lisa. Those gradations in the evening one are just lovely, they give such atmosphere.

Good luck on the exhibition, its always exciting to put work in front of others.

Hi Caroline thank you. These two are single mounted in a white textured board with a 2 inch wide domed wood frame. With Reeds and Reflections I'm going to try something a bit different. When it's finally finished I'll post a picture as it won't be glazed.

Thanks Jeanette. It is exciting to exhibit, although I find it nerve wracking too - I'm getting better since I started blogging :o)

I encourage everyone who can to go and see Lisa's work at the exhibition in Christchurch. If you are local pop in before it ends on 14th May. You won't be disappointed. Well done Lisa. I enjoyed my visit on Tuesday. Your paintings look beautiful.
