Shimmering Sands

Shimmering Sands

Holiday memories of sun baked sand and pebbles crunching underfoot whilst the tide rolled in. The muted cry of gulls drifted on a salty breeze scented with a faint tang of seaweed.

Beautiful choice of warm analogous colours, Lisa. Yes indeed, not long until we hit Dorset for the sixth year running. I'll be sharpening the Inktense in preparation this weekend :)

Hot colours evoke an almost desert seascape, summer truely has arrived in your bonny painting Lisa.

Hello Caroline, yes summer is really here it was very hot and sunny but now grey, chilly and raining. Oh and have I mentioned the wind? ;o) I hope it's nicer where you are today.
