At the shore

At the Shore   15.5x15.5cm acrylic on paper   ©2012 Lisa Le Quelenec

Standing at the shore, listening to the tide gently rolling in and enjoying the autumn light. The chilly edge in the air smells of Autumn now and I will be digging out warmer clothes soon.

The painting above is available in my Etsy Store  here .

Hi There Lisa!... Your painting surely does elicit all of the feelings you describe in words in this post!

Autumn is a time for reflection... and preparation for the cold of those long winter months!

Enjoy your shoreline visits and walks!

Good Painting!
Warmest regards,
Bruce

Wonderful composition, love that high sky, and you can almost hear the whisper of the waves.

Hello Bruce, it's definitely my favourite season. A time for taking stock, enjoying some storms and hunkering down with some good books when the light goes. I love the crisp smell of Autumn. One day I will visit Canada to have a taste of your Autumn. Best wishes.

Hello Jane, welcome. Thank you for commenting, it's always good to see a new face.
