I must go down to the sea again..

I must go down to the sea again,
    to the lonely sea and the sky;
I left my shoes and socks there -
    I wonder if they're dry?

There's nothing like a nice walk along the strand with a hazy headland out across the bay.
Fine work, Lisa!

Hi Lisa, I really love your painting the land and rocks really catch the eye. The foreground of the white under wave shows the colours of the water through very nicely. I am wondering what kind of paper you are using. I used Fredrick canvas sheets for my acrylic still life the other day and it was so nice to work on. You can mount it up and show it either mounted or in a frame too.

Lovely peaceful feel to this one Lisa. I can almost hear the water and a gull.

Saturday was beautiful at the beach, a bit colder this morning but still very pleasant. I had to make the most of it before the bad weather comes tomorrow... I'm glad you enjoyed your walk too.

Hi Caroline, thank you. I use mostly Arches hot press 300lb, it can take a lot of handling and stands up to acrylic well. I haven't tried Fredrick canvas sheets but it sounds interesting. Maybe I'll add some onto my next materials order.Thank you for the heads up about it.

Hi Jeanette, thank you. I feel so lucky to live on the coast and have scenes like this on my doorstep.
