Summer Evening   acrylic on paper 14x14cm   ©2015Lisa Le Quelenec

Sometimes the sea here is so still, quiet and calm it is unrecogniseable as the same body of water that menaces the coast during the October storms. As the days of summer are coming to an end and a coolness begins to stir in the evenings I look forward to the storms but for now it is good to reflect on the quieter times.

Good evening Lisa... Your perfect control of atmosphere and colour capably convey the quiet and peace of the moment. Strange how these features can change on a dime... and be replaced by rage and anger.

A wonderful watercolor moment!

Good Painting!
Warmest regards,
Bruce

Beautiful painting Lisa, the soft colours and disappearing horizon line are so lovely. Make the most of this serene weather! it has been nice here too though for how long I am not sure!

Hi Bruce, thank you. Our little run of blissful weather seems fit to break this weekend. It was nice whilst it lasted but I enjoy the grey days too. Best wishes.

Hello Caroline, thank you too. The weather is starting to turn today and rain for a few days from tomorrow. I will be changing my palette...lol.
