Sketchbook page and beach treasures colour inspiration   ©2016LisaLeQuelenec

A rushed thumbnail sketch and treasures from my stash inspired these two paintings. Memories and observations of countless evenings at the beach all added together, interwoven and layered play their part.

Both paintings are available at my Etsy store Seaside Studios UK.

Hi there Lisa!... Your unbelievably varied blue tonal range and "spot on" capture of the atmospheric perspective and cloud wispiness make both of these very special water color moments of the highest quality. Bravo!

Good Summer Painting!
Warmest regards,
Bruce

Both of these are a bit misty and cool - just what I need in this 90F heat! Aren't beach treasures just the best? :)

Wow Bruce! Many thanks!

Rhonda I think I would melt. That sounds way too hot for me. I hope things get to a more hospitable temperature for you soon.
