Coastal collages and mixed media - a larger format.

Working on a larger format and suddenly there is more air... space to breathe.... - they become more like my 'big empties'. The process feels longer, like pacing yourself for a days hike rather than a morning walk. Still I flit between abstractions and more recogniseable imagery...I am still searching for my answers.

Good morning Lisa! Your Narrative matches the eloquence of your collage artwork in this post Lisa. It clearly suggests that your soul is fully in tune with your creative endeavours and enjoyment.

Your composition is impeccably laid down... so that your imagery does not require explanation. Simply put... your work speaks directly from your heart to mine. Creative endeavours must always achieve that purpose. Like my post... you encourage the viewer to "come play with me"... and "What do you make of this????"

Bravo... Your best post in my opinion. Stay your course... and keep growing!

Warmest regards and Happy Healing!
Bruce

There is nothing I can add to Bruce’s comments about these, Lisa. Beautiful work and you are still exploring these but have found a quiet space that will appeal to all viewers in different ways. Thanks so much for continuing this series!

Lisa - your search has certainly brought some lovely work. I especially love the Ocean View III. Your use of monochromatic blue fills each piece with a serenity. Also you are right about the space and allowing the art to breathe. Hope you are having a great day friend. Hugs!

Wow Bruce! Thank you. I don't know what to say.... thank you.

Thank you Rhonda. Quiet spaces - that is what I am trying to achieve - space to pause.

Hi Debbie, thank you. A strong teal blue was a pleasure to use and made an exciting change for me. I hope you are enjoying your pause for summer.
