Warming up my palette - dog days of summer

Walking the Dog paintings, watercolour colour notes and inspiration   ©2019LisaLeQuelenec

It seems we are to have another period of warmer weather before autumn gets underway. I will head to the beach earlier or later as it cools down - kinder to 'not-so-little-now' paws.

Good morning Lisa!... Your subtler warmer palette... very gently edges one into a warmer recognition of those warmer early autumn highlights. The painting of the "pair" on the quiet beach echoes that feeling of quiet and solitude that autumn delivers. Enjoy these moments. How is Jack???

"Warmest" regards,
Bruce

Lisa I love your warm summer palette. Your painting is just so lovely. The simplicity captures the feel of an early morning walk on the beach. Hope you are enjoying the last of August sweet friend. Hugs!

Oh, you know I love your blue paintings and prints but these, too, are lovely and I'll look forward to your warmer palette as we move into autumn :)

Any palette would be beautiful at the end of your brush, Lisa!

Hi Bruce, we have certainly been treated to some lovely golden light just lately. It is my favourite time of year for out and abouting the more gentle light certainly has an influence on my work. Jack has sprouted as quickly as his sunflowers this summer and just as sunny. Love to you and Deb.

Hi Debbie, thank you. Walks have been made extra special this year with addition of little four paws. Best wishes for these end of summer days.

Thank you Rhonda, we are getting to my favourite time of year. It has been such a hot summer that I am looking forward to these more mellow days. You seem in transition like the seasons at the moment - I am looking forward to seeing the path you take. I know it will be an interesting one, you always open my eyes.

Wow ! Chris thank you (blushes). Best wishes.
