Spiral inspiration

Spiral inspiration from paper trimmings ©2024LisaLeQuelenec

Inspiration really is everywhere! Aren't these spirals just perfect. Trimmings from paintings I was getting ready to mount. I feel a new pattern coming on....

They remind me of Karl Blossfeldt photographs.

Ah Lisa what a great way to find new inspiration. Having done zentangles in the past has helped me see often times repeating patterns. Hope you are having some sunshine and enjoying the squirrels as much as I am. Have a lovely day. Hugs!

Oh, you very clever girl! Love that you looked at these clippings and saw Inspiration for new things!!! And the grouping in themselves is art…who would know what they were if you didn’t tell them?

Hi Debbie, I'm really enjoying looking out for repeat pattern inspiration. I have just bought a book about tessellating shapes and how they are constructed. It's more a quilting/patchwork book in the American tradition and I am finding it fascinating. I'm going to learn a lot I think. You have given me something else to research with zentangles so thank you.

Thank you Maywyn I do love a spiral ;o) best wishes.

Hi Rhonda, I spent far too long playing with bits and had to leave the mounting for another day! When inspiration strikes you just have to roll with it - my excuse and I am sticking with it!
